Gwen John, a Welsh painter born in 1876 and Ida Lupino, one of the first female directors in Hollywood meet in an unlikely crossroads of time and space. Ida’s world is more distinctly warm toned and on the edge of sepia, whereas as Gwen enters the space, a soft texture and color start to fade in to indicate her unique impressionistic style of painting.
